How you will contribute to our Purpose:

As Supply Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality curriculum and nutritious snacks to our youth in our education and care programs. The Supply Coordinator assists with the management, distribution, and reporting of all snacks and supplies for our youth education and care programs. The coordinator will fill, organize, distribute, and maintain purchase orders and inventory as well as cultivate relationships with current and potential vendors and staff.

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, depending on experience

Qualifications

What you bring to the Purpose:

  • Education & Experience:
    • You are a minimum of 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. 
    • You have customer service experience. 
    • You have warehouse and supply experience in receiving and distribution of inventory is preferred.
    • You are familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
    • You have a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Essential Functions

What are the details?

Supply Logistics (80%)

  • Fill supply orders accurately, completely, and promptly while keeping effective communication with supervisor and coworkers.
  • Receive shipments and check goods against purchase orders.
  • Prepare and distribute curriculum order supplies on a weekly basis.
  • Deliver supplies to programs using the company vehicle when necessary.
  • Organize and maintain the supply center inventory, recognizing when inventory needs to be replenished.
  • Maintain security of the supply center and all supplies during program distribution days.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for staff in the supply center.
  • Greet and provide excellent customer service to employees and vendors visiting the supply center.
  • Respond to inquiries from employees and vendors regarding orders and shipments.
  • Coordinate work with other departments, including program, accounting, and operational leadership to accomplish collective goals.

Data Entry (20%)

  • Ensure records of transactions are reviewed and maintained.
  • Perform prompt and accurate entry of orders and shipment data.
  • Assist in the data entry for supply budgets for each youth program and generate a monthly status report.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to routinely lift 10 lbs., and occasionally lift to 40 lbs. Driving an organization vehicle will occasionally be required.
