Job Description

Initiates effective online marketing campaigns that translate business goals into campaigns that increase brand awareness, promote the Y’s membership and program services, and drive prospects to conversions through a comprehensive understanding of consumer trends and demands.   • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising Journalism, or Communications
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of directly-related work experience in a digital or marketing environment: agency experience preferred
  • Certification in digital strategy, paid search, web development, Google Analytics or related field
  • Knowledge of web software, content management, CRM and marketing automation systems, and graphics creation and web optimization, including: HTML/CSS, Drupal CMS. Marketo experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Photoshop
  • Advance knowledge of paid search strategies, best practices and platforms such as Google and Facebook Power Editor. Google Ad Grants experience a plusEngine Optimization SEO experience
  • Copywriting and editing experience with strong command of AP style
  • Strong project management and analytical skills with experience coordinating cross-functional teams that can deliver results within tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within the organization
  • CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations:
    • American Red Cross
    • American Heart Association
    • American Safety & Health Institute
Essential Functions
  • Manage email marketing campaigns and landing pages in Marketo, including best practices for planning, targeting, set-up, testing, execution, reporting and optimization
  • Drive email and marketing content management system (CMS) automation including drip marketing campaigns, creating lead nurturing programs, lead scoring, web forms, landing pages and associated templates
  • Plan, manage, and execute Paid Search / Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
  • Collaborate with the Y’s data analyst to utilize customer database for optimal customer segmentation
  • Provide post-event campaign analysis and reporting for integrated email and digital ad campaigns
  • Support Website and Digital Strategist to maintain and audit website content, working in collaboration with the communications and public relations team, key stakeholders and external partners in the ongoing maintenance and website development, including HTML copy and an online content library
  • Provide project management for large web-based marketing initiatives, including, but not limited to, microsite and landing page development and website redesign
  • Provide monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc campaign reporting and analysis of various sites
