How you will contribute to our Purpose:

The Experience Project Manager supports the articulation, execution, measurement, and continuous improvement of the association’s Experience projects while engaging with department leaders, people-managers, and team members across the Association to ensure timely project deliverables are met and in alignment with Association-wide strategic goals and priorities and Experience unit core responsibilities. Reports directly to the Chief Experience Officer (CXO).

The Experience Project Manager manages highly complex project plans that require supporting the work of other teams, with some authority on actions and decisions. Projects may require detailed planning with teams across departments and locations. Duties involve efforts specifically designed to meet strategic goals across the Association, support association-wide practices, implement frameworks and systems across centers, and support the implementation of projects across all facets of the organization. This role directly plans and schedules project timelines and milestones and keeps Chief Experience Officer and others up-to-date by effectively utilizing Microsoft365 tools.

Salary: $53,000- $58,000 per year, depending on experience.

  • Education & Experience:
    • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 5 years of professional work experience including at least 2 years of project management, organizational change initiatives, and/or equivalent work experience.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams is required and proficiency with Excel is preferred.
    • Experience with Asana or similar project management software is required.
    • PMP certification is preferred.

Essential Functions

Project Management (50%)

  • Manage projects across the spectrum of employee experience, prioritizing Association needs and organizational effectiveness
  • Assess and manage the full scope of projects: schedule, stakeholder communication, quality, risks, resources, documentation, process flows, key metrics, communication
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documentation
  • Address areas of risk through the creation of actions plans, status updates & escalation to provide and implement solutions, forecasting change including deadlines, action plans, and contingency plans
  • Manage key Experience department projects across functional areas working directly with senior leadership as needed

Change Management, Transforming Work (25%)

  • Lead change management efforts across departments and projects as a member of the Experience team
  • Work effectively across departments with a variety of leaders and people-managers to delegate tasks and responsibilities related to the project scope
  • Track project milestones and deliverables within specifically assigned projects
  • Demonstrated initiative and drive within a fast-paced and fluid environment is necessary
  • Maintains and manages knowledge associated to projects and supports department leads in their own knowledge management across Association departments and functions

Departmental Coordination, supporting Chief Experience Officer (25%)

  • Provide administrative assistance, such as preparing communications and reports
  • Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
  • Conduct purchasing activities for the department, including research, quotes, travel arrangements, and ensure proper budgeting and coordination with the Finance department
  • Prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly reports as needed, assigned
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Represent the CXO in meetings or projects to ensure that projects, programs, and communication are aligned with strategic initiatives


  • Data generation, reporting, and management
  • Action and Project Plans based on evaluation of project and teams
  • Reporting, Benchmarking & Best Practice Sharing
  • Presentations, Templates, Systems, Frameworks, Resource creation, and management
  • Acting as a member of the Project Management Office to support centralized PM practices
  • Support the CXO in stakeholder meetings and operation meetings
