Job Description

How this role contributes to the Y’s mission:
 

As a Y Senior Executive Director, Talent Acquisition, you will develop, implement and manage key talent acquisition and recruitment initiatives to full the Y’s strategic imperative of becoming an "Employer of Choice with an Exceptional Culture." You will oversee strategy development and implementation, make recommendations to fill critical positions and provide oversight to organization’s ongoing operational recruiting processes. You will lead a team of recruiting and sourcing talent acquisition professionals that source, screen and refer talent to align to product line desired needs and reduce vacancies for the entire association and support retention efforts. You will identify, manage and measure resources for the recruitment team to achieve success. You will coordinate and support the inbound marketing efforts and recruitment platforms to drive applicants for consideration. You will partner with internal and external marketing resources to ensure the Y’s employment brand and positions are promoted and reach targeted talent communities. You will provide organization reporting on vacancies and key talent acquisition performance metrics. You will ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices. As a Y Senior Executive Director, Talent Acquisition, you’ll contribute to the Y and to the larger community we serve by leveraging your strategic and operational talent acquisitions skills to positively impact Y associates whom support the Y mission and to help advance it.

Qualifications

This work is right for you if you have: 

  • A love of people with the ability to relate to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
  • Enthusiasm, patience, good humor, good judgment and a can-do spirit
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in recruitment, preferably supporting an hourly workforce in a multi-unit, consumer services environment
  • Prior experience with high-volume (> 1000 hires annually) and seasonal hiring
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience leading a team to achieve hiring objectives
  • Prior experience overseeing media and talent acquisition budgets
  • Experience with all forms of digital recruitment, social media recruitment and sourcing platforms
  • Prior experience implementing talent acquisition strategies that support diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, relationship-building and leadership skills
  • Experience working in a non-profit organization is strongly preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field
