The Y aims to improve the nation's health and well-being by providing programs and activities that promote wellness, reduce risk for disease and help others reclaim their health. With your YMCA membership, you have free access to our group exercise classes and Kickstart--a personalized wellness program designed to help you set and achieve your short-term fitness goals. At the Toby Wells YMCA, we also offer a variety of health and wellness programs to help you get on the right track, including personal training activities, strength classes, adult sports leagues and much more. 

Triathlon Training - Coming Soon

Come out and join us for this ALL NEW triathlon training! This is a 6-week training program with weekly clinics and workout sessions. Training program will allow you to:

• Swim, bike and run with a coach
• Practice your transitions
• Workout with other triathletes!

Achieve your goals at the YMCA! Our certified personal trainers use their knowledge of current research concepts, methods of sound exercise principles, and state-of-the-art equipment to guide you to your fitness goals. 

Personal training is perfect for post rehab training, sports/power training, balance/stability, older adults/teen training and so much more. Team Challenge

Achieve your best with friends! Team Challenge is an amazing team-training experience right at your YMCA. Managing weight is just one part of the picture; we want to focus more broadly to help you be your best. Each week, you can earn points for yourself and your team by working out and practicing healthy living. Team Challenge runs August 16 through September 28. Adult Sports Leagues

Join a team! We offer Adult Coed, Men’s 30+ and Men’s Intermediate arena soccer leagues. All leagues are 10 games plus playoffs. Women's and coed lunch leagues will be offered soon! View upcoming leagues on our website.

Gymnastics

Flip into action! Sign up for Beginning Adult Gymnastics classes on Fridays at 7:30 or join us for Adult Open Gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-8:55 pm. Beginning gymnastics classes provide instruction for adults to learn basic gymnastics skills. Main men's and women's apparatus will be used during the class, and there will be conditioning exercises throughout. Instructors are also available to assist with drills and feedback during open gym. 

Dance

Move to the beat as you strengthen your heart and lungs! Dance-based classes combine the fun of fancy footwork with a great cardio workout. Register for classes online. Adult Dance Classes include:

  • Ballroom Series: August 7 - September 10
  • Country Line Dancing: Mondays at 8:00 pm & Wednesdays at 12:00 pm
  • Belly Dancing: Tuesdays at 11:00 am
  • Jazz: Mondays at 6:00 pm
  • Ballet: Wednesdays at 6:00 pm

Adult Martial Arts

Martial Arts Classes are a great way to learn self-discipline, self-esteem, and respect. Join us on Mondays & Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 pm for adult martial arts. Registration is available on our website.

Studio Sweat OnDemand

Get your sweat on! Studio Sweat OnDemand has the best onDemand workouts around, and you can experience them first-hand at Toby Wells YMCA. OnDemand cycling classes take place in Studio 3 at the following times:

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7:00 am
  • Wednesdays at 4:30 pm
  • Saturdays at 11:30 am
  • Sundays at 1:00 pm

Foam Rolling 101 Seminar

Have you ever asked yourself, “when and why should I foam roll?” Or maybe you are even asking yourself “how do I foam roll correctly?” Get all of your questions answered and more! In this class you will:

  • Learn new strategies for using foam rollers
  • Focus on increasing mobility in your ankles, hips and shoulders
  • Improve the over-head squat.
