Why three prices?

We offer a voluntary, three-tiered pricing program based on the needs of your family. This program is completely confidential and in no way affects the quality of the experience your child receives.

  • Price A is the lowest cost, funded by donations to the greatest extent possible.

  • Price B is partially sponsored by contributed funds, and

  • Price C represents the actual cost of camp operations, including long-term wear, tear and depreciation. Families, like you, have voluntarily paid the B and C prices to ensure Camp Surf continues to thrive. Since 2005 more than $500,000 has been given to offset repair and replacement costs at our camps.

Got Leadership?

Build strong friendships in a program that combines all the fun and play of camp with opportunities for personal growth and volunteer credit.

Each SOUL session starts with a 3 day-2 night trip to San Onofre State Beach. Time back at camp includes a beach cruiser bike trip to Coronado, evening surf sessions, choice activities, and stories around a campfire. This program has it all including a focus on:

Service

Organize and help staff at the carnival and an evening program with our youngest campers. Work with our full-time staff on a camp service project, improving or building a program area to “leave your mark” at camp!

Outreach

Spend one day volunteering at a local community or non-profit agency. Past projects have included partnerships with Wild Willows and the Tijuana Estuary.

Unity

Friendship is one of the most important elements of the camp experience, and we dedicate time for the group to learn about yourself and each other, and the value that each individual brings.

Leadership

Spend some time working with our camp counselors in a supportive role as a mentor for our youngest campers. Whether you assist in a body boarding or archery lesson, or get in costume for the dance, the opportunities to lead are unlimited!
