Youth Volleyball Clinic and Camp

This summer Peninsula Family YMCA is offering skills clinics and competitive camps for volleyball! We'll teach your child the rules of the sport, improve their skills, and get them ready for high school play. More importantly, it's a blast and a fun way to stay in shape, learn sportsmanship, and be social in a team setting. Space is limited, so sign up today!

Volleyball Skills Clinics • We offer Passing 101, Setting 101, and Hitting 101 for 8-11 and 11-14 year olds.

Family Highlights

Family Flick 'n' Float

July 27, 6:30 pm-9:00 pm • Enjoy a fun summer night with the whole family by watching a movie as you float in the pool. Come float with us and watch Finding Dory!

Parent's Night Out

Second and Fourth Fridays of the Month • July 13 and 27 • 5:30 pm-8:30 pm

Family time at the Y is about giving families the opportunity to deepend relationships, develop new skills and interests, improve thier health and well-being, and connect to the community. On the second and fourth Friday or each month, parents can drop off their children 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm and have some time to themselves. Children will participate in fun games, activities, and crafts with a kid-friend dinner provided.

〉More Parent's Night Out Information

For members ages 3-12. All participants must be potty trained. To serve as many families as possible, we ask that families only sign up for one night per month. We hope this continues to add value to your membership and we are excited to serve more families! Register at the front desk or online. $10 per child.

Adventure Guides

Adventure Guides is a long-standing program that is dedicated to building lifetime bonds between parent and chld. Build memories through participating in events such as single day trips and overnight camp outs. This parent-child program is designed for children ages 5-10 years old.

〉Circle Meetings and Nation Events

Circle Meetings: Join a Circle

The Adventure Guides program consists of Fathers and/or Mothers and their children ages 5-10. Become part of a Circle witih other particpants to meet once a month for an hour to enjoy games, crafts, hiking, community service, cook outs and family outings.

Nation Events: A Greater Community

In addition to Circle meetings, there be Nation Events. At Nation Events, all Circles from the YMCA come together once a month for day trips and overnight trips. These trips include activities like camping, hiking, fishing, and more.

Orientation Night

Orientation night is an opportunity to meet other nation and circle members, while learning more about the program.

Social Highlights

Twilight in the Park Summer Concerts

August 14, 4:30 pm-8:00 pm • Join us for a night out at the park! Enjoy dinner and time with friends while listening to the sounds of the Coronado Big Band!

$20 per member/$25 per participant, includes dinner and transportation to and from the concert. Sign up at the front desk of Peninsula Y is required by August 10.

Y Active Adults: Age 50+ group

In addition to offering health and wellness activities geared toward the active older adults, Peninsula Family YMCA also offers events for the Y Active Adults to socialize and go on outings

Peninsula Summer Day Camp has begun! There are new camps every week and you can register now!

There are still 5 weeks of camp left, including Mountaineering Camp, Cooking Camp, and Surf Camp in addition to our traditional day camps.

No matter their age or interest, you'll find a camp perfect for your little adventurer!
