June carrington, LMFT 53893

June Carrington is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has over ten years of experience working in the mental health field in a variety of settings. This includes residential treatment centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, partial hospitalization programs and private practice.

She has expertise providing therapy with eating disorders, borderline personality disorder, dual diagnosis, adolescents and families in crisis and foster youth. June uses a compassionate and caring approach with her clients and uses a systemic model when evaluating the individual and families.

June works for the YMCA Youth and Family Services as the Program Director for the Counseling Services program. She also is the Clinical Supervisor for most of the interns and trainees for the Tides program and also the Counseling Services program.

She is currently working towards her certification with AAMFT as an approved supervisor and is a AAMFT clinical fellow. Additionally, she continues to work with eating disorders and other issues in private practice.

When not helping in the mental health field, June enjoys exercising, exploring nature and hiking in the back country of San Diego.
