About Gwendolyn Shelton

Gwendolyn Shelton believes that every person has a unique story and life experience that shapes them into the person they currently are. For many people, past experiences and/or current circumstances can have such an impact on their lives that it affects their ability to function. It may affect their interactions with others, school or work performance, or other aspects of daily life. Gwendolyn's desire is to assist people in discovering how they can become a well-functioning person despite their past and current issues.

Gwendolyn graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Diego State University, and completed her master’s degree in marital and family therapy from Bethel Seminary San Diego. Her approach includes working from a family-systems framework in order to better understand how our family of origin affects our interactions with others and our ability to function.
