About brittany vetter

Brittany received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from California State University of Long Beach with a concentration in School Social Work. The focus of her thesis research was community risk factors that influence adolescent substance use and delinquency. Her graduate studies also included emphasis on treatment approaches towards substance use.

Brittany has spent the last 6 years working with diverse community populations in San Diego and Los Angeles Counties. Brittany began her career with San Diego County’s Child Welfare Program serving as a protective services intern. Upon graduation from San Diego State University’s undergraduate program, she worked as a case manager for a community mental health clinic treating children and their families in Los Angeles County. Brittany also has experience working with the Anaheim Unified School District and their homeless prevention and support programs. Most recently, Brittany has directed her focus to providing individual and family counseling services in the community of San Diego.

Brittany has acquired valuable experience in treating family system issues, anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, attention deficits, developmental disorders, and issues related to grief and loss.
