The Y's Krause Family Skate and Bike Park in Clairemont

The Y's Krause Family Skate and Bike Park has a brand-new skatercross track, thanks to the vision pro skater and Y supporter Andy Macdonald. Fifteen years in the planning, the course allows three skateboarders at once to race each other while airing gaps up to 25 feet. Andy Macdonald describes it as a BMX track for skateboarding.

The course is currently the only one of its kind. Because of the skill level needed to ride it, the course will be open to professionals only leading up to our Clash at Clairemont event on June 25, 2016. The Clash will bring the top skatercross racers to the park to compete on the track for the first time.

After the Clash, the gaps are going to be filled in and the jump hurdles will be taken down so amateur skateboarders and bikers can use the course. Learn more about Skatercross.
