Elementary/Middle School programs

With support from Jack in the Box Foundation, our innovative P.R.Y.D.E. program (Prevention, Recreation, Youth, Diversity, Education) bolsters literacy and provides support aimed at steering at-risk youth away from drugs, alcohol and gangs. Learn more

P.L.A.Y. (Physical Learning Activities for Youth) offers physical fitness, health education and character development to youth in local elementary schools. Learn more

High school programs

We work with Mark Twain High School, an alternative, school-of-last-resort for most students — on two main programs:

Wellness Program

Specifically targeted to expectant teenage mothers or girls who are at risk of becoming pregnant

Academic Assistance

Designed to bring qualified educators into the classroom to assist teachers, working in small groups or one-on-one, to help students improve academic achievement.

The Outreach program is just one of the ways we’ve been able to put your dollars to work. These programs are completely funded through donations from our Community Outreach Campaign. There is no charge to the schools or participants.
