YPersonal Fitness is a 12-week personalized exercise program that is offered free to members.

As you set goals and begin to make exercise a healthy habit, your Personal Coach will offer weekly feedback, encouragement and educational materials.

  Initial Appointment

  • Health History Enrollment Forms
    Medical clearance may be necessary
    prior to getting started
  • Exercise inventory questionnaire
    Assess your feelings about exercise
  • Set long term goals and evaluate your
    progress
  • Learn about fitness activities available
    to you at your YMCA

  Follow-up Appointments

  • Meet with a Personal Coach once a
    month (Schedule follow-up appointments at the
    Member Service Desk in lobby)
  • Establish short-term goals for each of
    your long-term goals
  • Develop an exercise plan
  • Sign a commitment to staying active
  • Complete questionnaires during each
    appointment to see your energy progress
