To supervise and ensure the safety of each child enrolled in Playcare. To assist with snack time, diaper changes, play time and positive discipline. To maintain nursery and equipment To ensure the satisfaction of our members by maintaining a safely run program Shifts and hours subject to change.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience working with infants and children.
Must be CPR and First Aid certified or must obtain within 30 days from hire date.
Must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing to members and staff.
Physical ability to lift children and infants.
Must possess the visual and auditory ability to act swift in an emergency situation; to adequately observe participant activities; to enforce safety regulations and apply appropriate policies and procedures; as well as possess the physical ability to lead and interact in group activities and perform related physical skills.
Major Functions
Interact with infants, toddlers, and school age children, directing and leading activities.
Maintain cleanliness of playcare room, as well as toys and supplies.
Supervise children inside and outside, always maintaining safety.
Change diapers, assist with bottle-feeding and snack time.
Record daily reservations on the phone and in person.
Serve as positive role models to parents, staff, and children.
Attend and participate in playcare meetings, branch all staff meetings, and special events.
