Camp Resources

Types of Day Camps

Designed to give a broad opportunity to explore a wide range of interests. From arts and crafts to field trips each week, traditional camp is what the Y is known for each summer! We offer traditional camp for nearly every age group (age groups are designated by name of camp below)

These camps provide your child with a different experience compared with the traditional Y Camps and allow your child to explore a specific interest all week long. Camps are offered at various locations (children will take a bus to the vendor's site from their home Y branch and will come back the same way) and are age specific each week. With a full range of activities and interest, your camper can do it all! More activities mean more fun!

American Camp Association (ACA) Accreditation

Accreditation means that your child's camp cares enough to undergo a thorough (up to 300 standards) review of its operation. From staff qualifications and training to emergency management, American Camp Association collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Red Cross, and other youth serving agencies, to assure that current practices at your child's camp reflect the most up-to-date research based standards in camp operation. Camps and ACA form a partnership that promotes fun and growth in an environment committed to safety.
