How can I attach my resume and cover letter?

You may attach a resume and cover letter by clicking on the “add resume & attachments” link on the application page. The documents can be uploaded in any of the following formats: DOC, DOCX, RTF, PDF, TXT, HTML. You can attach a total of up to 6 documents and 4MB of data. Your resume and all attachments combined must be less than 4MB.

I forgot my password. What can I do?

You may retrieve your password by click in on the “If you do not remember your password click here” under the Previous applicant section of the website

What happens after I submit my employment application online?

Once your application has been submitted online you will receive a confirmation email. This email will state that your application has been received. Your application will be directly sent to the hiring branch. The branch you applied to will call you to discuss opportunities and next steps.

In order to complete my application, do I need to create a username/password?

Yes, in order to complete your application you must enter your email address and create a password in order to complete the online application.

How old do I have to be to work for the YMCA?

The minimum age to work for the YMCA of San Diego County is 16 year of age. Please check the qualifications section of the position you are interested in for specific age requirements.

What is the status of my application?

In order to inquire regarding the status of your application please contact the branch you submitted your application for.
