Youth Medical Release Form
The YMCA requires a new Medical Release form for the Year Round Camps. Medical Release forms are due prior to the start of the camp session. For liability reasons, children may only participate in camp with a medical release form. If you have any questions, contact the registration desk for clarification. Specific Camp Waivers
Specific outside vendors require additional medical release forms. Medical Release forms are due prior to the start of the camp session. Preschool Summer Adventures
In order to register for Preschool Summer Adventures you must first complete and submit Youth Waiver and the State of California Licensing enrollment packet (and include a copy of your child's immunization card).
Permission Slip To Walk Home
Parents of participants who walk from Camp must sign a "Permission to Walk" slip for that participant, and send it to camp with them. This slip will be kept on file. If we do not have a "Permission to Walk" slip on file, your child will not be released, and you will be called to pick up your child from camp.Permission To Walk Waiver
Scholarships Scholarships are available to the extent possible through generous donations from friends, families and fundraising events. Financial Scholarships may be used for annual memberships or programs at the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA. Both members and non-members are encouraged to apply. Camp I CAN
Camp I Can camp designed to provided children with Autism a day camp experience that will allow them to feel comfortable in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. Camp I CAN is designed for children with Autism between the ages of 6-17. for more information on camp I CAN details please download the registration packet below. Cancellations, Transfers, Y-Voucher Before camp begins, we pay our vendors, purchase admission tickets and supplies, and hire our staff according to enrollment.
& Refund Policies
If you request to cancel your enrollment before the start of the camp week, you will receive a 100% Y-voucher or refund (minus any deposit or vendor fees).
If you request to cancel your enrollment the Monday of the camp week, you will receive a 75% Y-voucher or refund (minus any deposit or vendor fees).
No Y-vouchers or refunds will be given for cancellations after Monday of the camp week. Y-vouchers do not expire and may be used by another member of your family or may be donated to our Annual Support Campaign.
CARAVAN REFUND POLICYNo credits, refunds or transfers are allowed within 12 days of the program for which you are registered.
($100 deposit is non-refundable)
TRANSFERSTransfer requests may be made through Tuesday of the camp week (space permitting). Camp fee differences need to be paid at the time of the transfer. All transfers are subject to availability and no transfers are guaranteed.
Children absent two or more days during a session or injury may receive a prorated Y-voucher due to illness or refund. Doctor’s note must accompany the credit/refund application and all requests must be received within one week of the end week of program.
SINGLE DAY CAMPIf you wish to transfer or cancel your Single Day registration, you must submit a request three business days in advance. No credits/refunds or transfers will be made within this three day window.

In order to register, you may choose any of the below methods. All required forms and waivers must be submitted regardless of method of registration. Updated Medical Release forms must be submitted prior to, or during the registration process.

Registration Begin Dates
Member only registration begins
Saturday, March 5, 2016:
Online only begins at 7:00 am
Walk in begins at 8:30 am
Non-Member registration begins
Saturday, March 12, 2016.
Any early faxes or mail-in registration forms will not be accepted before March 5 for members and March 12 for non-members. Any member faxes or mail-in registration forms received on March 12 will be processed at the end of the day.
Sign up for camp EARLY! Be sure to register prior to the Wednesday before each camp during the priority registration period in order to avoid an additional cost of $20.
Medical Release Forms
All campers must have a current medical release form updated and submitted to the YMCA after January 2016. You may obtain a copy of this form on the Forms & Waivers page, in person at the registration desk during regular business hours or by calling registration at 760.635.3033.
CAMPERS WHO HAVE NOT COMPLETED A CURRENT YMCA MEDICAL RELEASE/ LIABILITY WAIVER WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO REGISTER UNTIL THE FORM IS COMPLETED!

If your camper has any special needs, please let us know when registering. The Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA funds and operates an Inclusion Program that may be able to provide an aide for your camper.
