Get a breath of fresh air and a great workout
at the same time!

Almost anyone can walk — from beginner to advanced race walker. Join us and see Encinitas from a new perspective!

"Lite" Class

If you are a senior, entry level walker, returning or rehabilitating from an injury or surgery, then this is the class for you. Prepare to walk 60 minutes at a light to moderate pace while letting your body safely adapt to the demands of walking. Warm-up, cool-down and appropriate stretching included in each class.

Free to members | $10 non-members


"Lite" Distance Class

This class is designed to move at a slower pace for those interested in 90 minutes of “lite” walking. Warm-up, cool down and appropriate stretching included in each class.

Saturday
8:00 am - 9:30 am
Free to members | $10 non-members


Intermediate Advanced Class

This class includes various walk terrains including beach, sand, hills, steps, and includes bimonthly interval training. Walking technique is instructed in the class and no one is left behind. Truly a unique aerobic challenge and a chance to meet some new friends. Warm-up, cool down and appropriate stretching included in the class.

Distance Training Class

Looking for a real BIG challenge? Try our Distance Training Class and experience the ultimate power walk intensity level. Prepare to work out for a full hour and a half on the streets of Encinitas covering 6-7 miles. An aerobic workout for anyone looking to experience an outdoor adventure. Warm-up, cool down and appropriate stretching included in each class.
