Coach Jonathan:

My name is Jonathan Noon. I originally studied Finance at the University of San Diego, however my true passion was always in fitness. Several years ago I decided to pursue this passion through an advanced education in Exercise Physiology. I completed my Masters degree at Baylor University in 2014, and I have also earned the Certified Strength and Conditioning (CSCS) certification through the NSCA, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) the NSAM, and the USAT Level I certifications. On top of being a student of the literature I have also studied what I call ‘in the field’. Often times the literature disagrees with what is practiced in the field by competitive athletes. Athletically, or ‘in the field’, my passion is triathlon, particularly long course. Being raised in San Diego, the birthplace and still a triathlon mecca, I am surprised it took me so long to get into the sport, but I am grateful I did. I have learned a lot about myself and the dynamics of the world around us through sport. In the last three seasons as an avid triathlete I have completed 6 full Ironmans seeing my personal best time drop from 12:33 to 9:40 and recently earned a slot to the prestigious Ironman World Championship in Hawaii next October. During this time I have learned the art of what I call ‘self-maintenance’ in order to prevent injury and maximize performance. I have a passion for milking results from the athletes I work with. I love seeing athletes even surprise themselves through our work together. I have the utmost confidence that great things come of any athlete willing to learn, willing to put in the work, and willing to be consistent.
