Our Employment Philosophy
"to help all people reach their fullest potential"
When you read our Mission Statement at the bottom of each page you will see that phrase.
To us at YMCA camp all people indeed means ALL people. It is important that our staff are given the opportunity to learn and grow just as much as our campers are. When we hire someone at Camp Marston or Raintree Ranch that person is making a commitment to work for us. At the same time camp is making a commitment to work hard for that person. Our commitment is to help them learn new skills, develop leadership and gain direction in their life. The stronger our staff are the better our program is. In turn the more we can effect our campers that come to our programs. Which is why we all are here!
We feel strongly that part of our mission is to prepare our staff for other opportunities in life. Whether they be here at our operation, at other camps, or out in the world at large.
We provide leadership opportunities and the chance for real decision making that effect your campers. We give feedback and on going evaluation to help you become the best you can be. We want you to reach your fullest potential!
We ask a lot of our staff so we feel we need to give a lot in return. We hope you'll join us in this mission
