  • DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Diego
    7450 Hazard Center Drive
    San Diego, CA, 92108
  • Our keynote speaker is Brent King, co-founder of Chelsea’s Light Foundation, an organization founded by Chelsea’s King’s family to make positive change for children.

Brent’s daughter Chelsea, a 17-year-old Poway High School student, disappeared in early 2010 after going for a run in a local park. Law enforcement and thousands of volunteers searched for days, but sadly Chelsea was the victim of a terrible crime. Despite this life-altering tragedy, Brent focuses on how Chelsea lived her life and her belief in the power of change.

Brent will share his inspirational message of hope and the power of an engaged community. In his daughter’s memory, the Foundation has worked to pass Chelsea’s Law, created a scholarship fund for San Diego County college-bound teens, and developed a peer-to-peer volunteer program.
  • All proceeds provide educational outreach programs for at-risk youth and teens in the downtown community.
  • Tickets: $30 each
  • Table and program sponsorships are still available.
